I've had food texture issues all my life. I've grown out of most, but still have issues with some. Mealy apples are still an issue. One bite, and it's in the garbage. I used to have issues with real crunchy items mixed with real soft items. It'll be interesting as we go along if C ends up with some of those same issues. The Lovely Steph Leannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12559867810782020214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14187675.post-56772549757305396132013-11-06T18:50:55.473-06:002013-11-06T18:50:55.473-06:00Love this! Advanced Trust Training. Every time I forget that he's working and try to make something happen on my own, it pretty much backfires...so, I trust. And do what I know to do. Oh my goodness, I love what you said, "Never confuse His silence for His inactivity." I'm still trying to fully grasp that, but I definitely understand it more often now than I used to. God has shown up for me time and time again so I know He will never forget me. Most autistic/Asperger's kids eat based on texture first and taste second... my stepson Alex won't eat rolls or biscuits, but bread is no problem. Also, he loves KFC's coleslaw.. and I mean, he LOVES it, will eat 2 family sized servings himself... but he won't eat coleslaw from anywhere else because he says they feel funny in his mouth. It looks like Campbell is going to be a pretty well adjusted kid. My wife and I hope the best continues for you and Steph.Greg Avanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12512539808730381984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14187675.post-18044443468133886552013-11-06T00:13:58.150-06:002013-11-06T00:13:58.150-06:00God's probably being quiet because I've sh...God's probably being quiet because I've shrugged him off and said with my actions and schedule that a relationship is not important to me. Blahhhhh. He's still there, just waiting for me to come back. #becauseemilycarltonhttp://www.emilycarlton.comnoreply@blogger.com
